Our go to place for take out Mexican food.  Everything is well seasoned and fresh tasting.

I've been here on four different occasions and felt it was time to leave a review summarizing my cumulative experience. This place is consistently terrific, delivering tasty, affordable, and authentic dishes that conjure fond memories of my best culinary experiences in Mexico. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and very gracious about my mediocre Spanish (I was practicing -- they all speak English quite well).

I'm completely baffled by the few negative reviews. One even reporting misinformation: "Accepts credit cards"?? "Plenty of inside seating"?? They must have gone to a different place b/c Tacos El Autlense only accepts cash and does not have any seating (unless you decide to take your food to the bar next door).

If you want to treat yourself to excellent food at affordable prices, check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Hands down, this taco truck serves the absolute best Lengua and Carne Asada tacos I've ever had! The quality of the meat is outstanding, making each bite a flavor explosion. The Lengua is tender and succulent, cooked to perfection, while the Carne Asada is seasoned just right, giving it a delightful smoky taste. I always had DRY taco meat at other food spots. The tacos are generously filled, and the toppings complement the meats beautifully. If you're a meat lover, these tacos are an absolute must-try! I keep coming back for more because I can't get enough of that amazing quality and taste. You won't be disappointed!

Best carnitas tacos in the area.  Crispy and tasty pork.  Gave only 4 stars  because the meat tends to be a little too greasy, making the tortillas soggy.  

I see some reviews say they were treated rudely or short changed but it looks like these problems happen more with the night shift.  I only go during the day and always have been given the right change and courteous service.
